United Way of Sandusky County funds programs that create lasting change right here in Sandusky County. We are changing lives today for a better tomorrow.

HEALTH

Promoting healthy lifestyles among our youth and adults will help to reduce many other challenges people face in Sandusky County. A healthy father could mean a more stable income for his family. A healthy student could mean the difference in success. A healthier Sandusky County means reduced addiction, reduced homelessness, and reduced chronic health issues.

United Way of Sandusky County has developed critical community partnerships to identify and implement proven, research-based programs that will increase the number of Sandusky County youth and adults who are living a healthy lifestyle.

As a result, we are providing education and access to mental health services with additional resources specifically for those with substance abuse issues. We are promoting healthy living and coordinated care for children and adults to help reduce the incidence of obesity, chronic disease and disability.
